Each semester, we plan an exciting and above all varied range of classes and workshops for our trainees. Whether you want to improve your technique in familiar exercises, get a taste of a new discipline, expand your knowledge of sports and health science or are simply keen to train in a group, we are sure to have something for you in our programme!

 


Strength Training Workshops

Whether you are new to strength training or want to improve your progress - in our strength training workshop you will learn everything from the basics to advanced techniques.

Free Weights: Squat, Deadlift & Bench press - Workshops

Want to take your squat, bench press or deadlift to the next level?
Then this workshop is just right for you! Plateaus can be frustrating – you will learn whether and how you can overcome them with targeted technique work.
The aim of the workshop is to analyse and optimise your execution so that you become stronger more efficiently and without injury. Whether you are a team athlete, strength athlete or ambitious trainee – you are guaranteed to take away valuable tips for your training. With the right technique, new personal bests are only a matter of time!

About the Coach

Octavian has gained a wealth of experience in competitive sports, from martial arts to American football and rugby to his current focus on powerlifting. He also coaches and trains athletes of all levels in strength and athletic training. With his evidence-based approach as a sports scientist and practical background in competitive sports, he will provide you with lasting support in achieving your goals during the workshop!

Olympic Lifting - Workshops & Classes

In our Olympic Lifting workshops and classes, you will learn the correct execution of snatch and clean & jerk, step-by-step progressions for safe lifting, and valuable tips on strength, mobility, and coordination. Individual feedback and targeted exercises will help you build a solid foundation and improve your performance.

Olympic Lifting - Workshop

Olympic weightlifting is a maximum strength sport that requires explosive power. This makes it ideal for transferring to many other sports – from all disciplines of athletics to ball sports. The workshop is aimed at all sports enthusiasts – beginners and advanced/competitive athletes are welcome. 
 

Content of the Workshop

The focus is on the basics of the snatch and clean & jerk. After a short theory section, we will (initially) move straight on to the practical part with an empty barbell.
 

Structure of the workshop

The workshop consists of two sessions (Saturday & Sunday).
 

About the Coach

Sebastian is a DOSB C-level competitive weightlifting coach. He would like to share his knowledge from years of experience as an athlete and coach with you so that you too can get started in Olympic weightlifting.

Olympic Lifting - Class

It's not for nothing that the snatch and clean & jerk are considered the supreme disciplines among strength sports. These movements require maximum technique, maximum strength, speed and flexibility. Whether you're a CrossFitter, strength athlete or complete beginner, here you'll learn valuable knowledge and practical tips that will help you get started in Olympic weightlifting or improve your existing technique.

Level 1: Class for Beginners

Whether you are a CrossFitter, strength athlete, or complete beginner: Here you will learn valuable knowledge and practical tips that will make it easier for you to get started with Olympic weightlifting or improve your existing technique.
 

Workshop Content

  • Brief introduction to the theory of the disciplines
  • Snatch & Clean and Jerk in practice: learning technical elements according to the German model
  • Tips with video analysis: identifying and correcting personal strengths and weaknesses
  • Mobility and activation exercises for hips, shoulders, and ankles
  • Fun in a group setting & personal insights into the sport from an expert’s perspective

Workshop Structure

The course consists of six sessions.

 

Level 2: Course for Advanced Participants

This course is aimed at anyone who has completed the Level 1 course or has learnt the snatch and clean & jerk techniques elsewhere and feels confident in these disciplines. Here, we will work together on a training plan and refine individual techniques.
 

Workshop Content

  • Technical optimization in the Snatch & Clean and Jerk
  • Tips with video analysis: identifying and correcting personal strengths and weaknesses
  • Mobility and activation exercises for hips, shoulders, and ankles
  • Fun in a group setting & personal insights into the sport from an expert’s perspective

Workshop Structure

The course takes place every two weeks.

About the Coach

Isabelle is a CrossFit Level 2 Coach & DOSB B-Licence Trainer in competitive weightlifting. In 2018, she began her athletic career in Olympic weightlifting with her club team in league competitions. As an individual athlete, her greatest successes include the title of Baden-Württemberg Champion (-58kg) in 2018 and participation in the German Championships in 2019. Isabelle brings valuable experience to the table, meeting you at your individual level and guiding you through the process with enjoyment, because technique is the key to success here!

Powerlifting Workshops

Learn the basics or fine-tune your technique in the three disciplines of squats, bench presses and deadlifts. Our powerlifting workshops offer you tailored coaching in which we focus intensively on the correct and most efficient execution of exercises and explain the scientific background to effective training.

 

Squat, Bench & Deadlift Workshops

This semester, we are running a barbell workshop where you can learn how to do squat, deadlift and bench press.


Calisthenics Workshops & classes

In our calisthenics workshop & classes, we show you how to train your entire body effectively using only your own body weight. Whether you are a beginner or advanced, you will learn a variety of exercises that target different muscle groups and improve your strength, endurance and mobility.

 

Handstand Workshops

Level 1: Learning the Handstand

If you want to learn the handstand, this workshop is exactly right for you. In the Level 1 workshop, you will receive clear step-by-step guidance, effective tips for body control and balance, as well as individually tailored exercises to help you progress safely.

Level 2: Freestanding Handstand

If you can already hold a handstand safely against the wall and want to take the next step, this Level 2 workshop is perfect for you. Here, you will learn how to safely move away from the wall and balance freely in spacewith greater precision, control, and confidence.

  • Refining your technique for a stable freestanding handstand
  • Exercises for a controlled transition from the wall to a free handstand
  • Training balance, body tension, and alignment
  • Effective drill exercises for greater control in free space
  • Strategies for safe catching and rebalancing

Calisthenics Basics - Workshop

Do you think handstands, pull-ups or push-ups are only for pros? If so, we want to show you that calisthenics can be done by anyone - regardless of your fitness level. Our Calisthenics Basics - Workshop is aimed at anyone who is interested in bodyweight training but doesn't know how or where to start

Calisthenics Muscle-up - Workshop

Want to finally master the muscle-up? Then this workshop is just right for you! We'll show you step by step how to build the strength, technique and flexibility you need for this calisthenics classic. 
 

Content of the Workshop
 
  • Basics: performing pull-ups and dips correctly
  • Exercises for explosiveness in pulling and pushing
  • Learning the transition: how to move from the pulling to the pushing phase

Partner Acrobatics Workshops

Dive into the world of partner acrobatics! In our workshops, you will learn to master impressive figures as a team. In this course you will gradually build up confidence in yourselves and in each other and learn helpful tips to improve your body awareness and balance.
