European University Games: The German universities are ready to go
Tübingen University students part of the German team
From July 17-30, 2022, the European University Games (EUG) will take place in Lodz, Poland. Almost 5000 participants from more than 400 universities from over 40 European nations are expected to take part in the EUG. They will determine the European University Champions in 20 different sports. Germany is represented in 19 sports with about 400 students and officials from 46 universities.
Students from Tübingen have also qualified to participate: In soccer, the University of Tübingen men's team is participating with 18 students and a support staff. Fabian Häßler is fighting for a medal in the Judo competition.
