Mental Health Days 2026
The 2nd Mental Health Days at the University of Tübingen will take place from November 23 to December 2 – and the University Sports Center will also be offering a diverse range of activities!
“Discover what empowers you!” – this is the motto of this year’s Mental Health Days at the University.
Over the course of ten days, students and, for the first time, university employees can look forward to a diverse programme focusing on mental health and resilience. Workshops, talks, practical activities and individual counselling sessions offer opportunities to gain new insights, try things out and consciously focus on your own mental health.
Kick-Off: Inspiring keynote
The Mental Health Days will start with a special highlight: On November 23, 2026, expert on failure culture and Golden Award winner of the International Speaker Slam New York 2019, Stefan Lapenat, will give his inspiring keynote “From Failure to Success.” He will explore the success stories that can lie behind apparent failures – and how our own failures can become the starting point for a personal success story.
The Mental Health Days will be officially opened with a welcome address by Rector Prof. Dr. Karla Pollmann.
Movement for mental health
Saturday will be all about movement: In various workshops offered by the University Sports Center, participants will learn how physical activity can strengthen mental health and how this knowledge can help us in our everyday lives.
The Mental Health Days are a joint project of the Student Health Management BeTaBalance and the Occupational Health Management.
