Success through perseverance, willpower and team spirit! Joey Kelly at the University Sports Center

On 24 November, extreme athlete, entrepreneur and musician Joey Kelly visited the University of Tübingen to deliver his inspiring keynote speech, 'No Limits – How Do I Achieve My Goal?'.

In the halls of the Institute of Sports Science, he shared his impressive life story. He recounted how he had mastered over 100 marathons, Ironman triathlons and extreme tours through perseverance, willpower and a strong sense of teamwork. In doing so, he demonstrated the importance of having a common goal in order to overcome challenges and achieve extraordinary feats.
As part of the TKTeamRoXX roadshow, the university's sports department invited students and staff to the sports hall. After the keynote speech, it was time to get active! In the subsequent team challenge, 100 participants divided into 25 teams of four demonstrated their strength, speed, and agility — with team spirit being the deciding factor for success.

The top three teams were: We rock high rocks (1st), die Überspitzen (2nd), Team Arschwasser (3rd)
The team with the best team name was: Pharmtastische Kellypharmily
The team with the best fanbase was: Kampftrias.

The results can be viewed  here.

We would like to thank all participants for a fantastic evening!
Good to know: TK-TeamRoXX is a project of the Techniker Krankenkasse health insurance company, which also visits the universities in Ulm, Stuttgart, and Konstanz, as well as Tübingen. Further information can be found here!
