Tübingen students nominated for 2026 WUC Cross Country
Adia Budde and Mia Jurenka will compete for Germany at the World University Championship Cross Country.
The board of the General German University Sports Association (adh) has nominated Adia Budde and Mia Jurenka for the World University Championship (WUC) Cross Country, which will take place from March 14 to 15, 2026, in Cassino, Italy.
We are delighted that two Tübingen athletes will be competing as part of the 16-strong cross country team for Germany.
At the student level, the WUC are outstanding competitions at the highest international level. WUC are becoming increasingly important among the top events in individual sports. This is also reflected in the fields of participants at past World University Championships, which are composed more and more of the top national athletes from the countries represented.
