Research

My research interests are in plant ecology, particularly how vegetation structure, function and diversity are changing under global climatic changes and immense anthropogenic pressure.

I am currently working on using near-surface remote sensing (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) in a dryland system to assess degradation, identify early warning signals and understand tipping point dynamics using multispectral imagery for my PhD.
