The presentation “Land in Resistance: The Latin American Mirror and Journalism facing power" will address the impact of industrial pollution on unprotected communities and the extreme risk of doing environmental journalism in México. It is a story of loss, but also of hope, represented by community collectives that decide to take control of their own future. In the end, this journey will serve as a mirror to understand dynamics that repeat in different parts of Latin America.
Adriana Navarro Ramírez is a Mexican investigative journalist with 26 years of experience specializing in human rights violations, environmental risks, and community resistance.
