Students beginning in winter will start with their practice semester (Schulpraxissemester). The academic programme of the M. Ed. consists of six core areas:
- Linguistics
- Literary/Cultural Studies
- Teaching English as a Foreign Language
- Academic English
- Independent Studies, the main area of which can be chosen by students themselves
and
- a Master Thesis, completing the programme
