11th bwHPC Symposium – September 23rd, Tübingen

 

Join us in Tübingen on September 23rd for the 11th bwHPC Symposium, an interdisciplinary conference spotlighting scientific projects and success stories leveraging high-performance computing and the BaWü data federation in the context of bwHPC-S5. The bwHPC-Symposium is a yearly event that is free for all scientists. It fosters active dialogue between researchers, bwHPC service operators, and members of the bwHPC-S5 support centers.

Tübingen, the host city, is home to our bwForCluster BinAC2 for Bioinformatics, Astrophysics, Geosciences, Medical Informatics and Pharmacy. The Tübingen team coordinates the HPC Competence Center for Bioinformatics and Astrophysics in Baden-Württemberg.

We welcome your scientific contributions and look forward to your participation and encourage you  to share your success stories with the HPC community in Baden-Württemberg

Poster and Talks

We invite all participants to showcase their bwHPC-related research as posters or talks. To participate:

  • Submit a 500-word abstract along with your registration.
  • Please use this template for your abstract.  Abstract Template Formatting Guide
  • Submit through symposium2025spam prevention@bwhpc.de by clearly indicating if your submission is for a poster or a talk.
  • Please provide the presenter's name, affiliation, and email address.
  • All contributions will undergo peer review.

Note: Decisions will be made following a peer review process, considering relevance, novelty, and the availability of the time slot. We reserve the right to demote applications for talks to be presented as posters.

  • The deadline for Abstract submission is July 18th, 2025.
  • Abstract acceptance will be communicated by August 18th, 2025.
  • Selected abstracts will be invited to be extended into short papers for publication in the conference proceedings.
