The Tübingen Center for Japanese Studies (TCJS) has been in existence for over 30 years. With this institution, which is unique in Europe, Tübingen's Japanese Studies programme offers its students the exceptional opportunity to learn and experience the culture and language of Japan on site in Japan.

The Tübingen Center for Korean Studies at Korea University

The Tübingen Center for Korean Studies at Korea University (TUCKU) in Seoul was founded in spring 2012 and is located on the campus of Korea University. Talented students and highly qualified exchange professors from Korea University can receive scholarships from the University of Tübingen.
