Award for Michiko Sakaki
Researcher receives Japan Society for the Promotion of Science Award
For her research on the interaction of emotion and memory, Dr. Michiko Sakaki has received the Prize of the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS). Endowed with 8,700 euros, it is one of the most prestigious science awards in Japan for early and mid-career researchers. It is usually awarded in a tea ceremony with the Japanese royal family, which could not take place this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
