The German Society for Sport Psychology (Arbeitsgemeinschaft für Sportpsychologie, asp) and the Department of Sport Psychology and Research Methods of the Institute of Sports Science Tübingen warmly invite you to the 53^rd annual conference of the asp which will be taking place online from the 13^th to the 15^th May 2021 and focus on teh topic of "Talent Development & Coaching in Sports"

The conference is thought to showcase latest scientific and practical insights on talent development in sport psychology adopting a broad and dynamic conceptualization of talent. This perspective allows researchers and practitioners to not only consider personal but also environmental factors (especially coaches and their coaching) for the long-term process of talent development. At the same time, it is based on an understanding of coaching in which the relationship between trainer and athlete lies at the core.

The conference is inviting all those who are active in the science and/or practice of sports psychology, but also  colleagues from other sports science disciplines, as well as athletes, coaches, and other sport practitioners interested in sport psychology.
