B.Sc. Sports Science with the profile Sports Coaching

The Bachelor’s degree programme in Sports Science with a specialisation in Sports Coaching is primarily designed to prepare students for careers in elite and grassroots sport, where both individual athletes and teams—from childhood through to adulthood—receive holistic support in their sporting and personal development. The programme consists of a major in Sports Science and a supplementary module on the theory and practice of sports coaching, offered by the Institute of Sports Science. Through practical seminars and partnerships with various sports federations and clubs, students also have the opportunity to gain valuable practical experience in supporting individual athletes or teams. Furthermore, the programme includes modules on interdisciplinary, career-relevant key skills.
