The Institute of Sports Science at the University of Tübingen prepares students for careers in the school and non-school sectors. Each winter semester, around 70 students are admitted to the training programme for secondary school physical education teachers. For those seeking employment outside of the school sector, the Institute offers a Bachelor's degree in Sports Science with various specialisations: Sports Management (25 places), Health Promotion (25 places), Media and Communication (12 places), and Sports Coaching (12 places). The Institute of Sports Science also offers two Master's programmes: an M.Sc. in Sports Science and an M.Sc. in Sports Management (17 places available on each).
