Tübingen Lectures in Sport Economics
This summer term, Carl Singleton from the University of Stirling will visit Tübingen to present his research in the field of sports economics.
He was invited by the Institute of Sports Science (Research Group in Sport Economics, Sport Management & Media Research) and the Tübingen Data Science and Sports Lab.
As part of his stay, Carl Singleton will give two lectures on current topics in sports economics. On Tuesday, July 15, he will speak at 12:15 pm on “Superstar wages”, and at 4:15 pm on “Betting on momentum in contests and the profitability of the bookmaker.” Both talks will take place in Seminar Room 3, Wächterstraße 67.
