New professor: Michael Knaus

Michael Knaus will transfer to the University of Tübingen on August 1, 2022. He follows the call to a tenure track junior professorship for Data Science in Economics.

Knaus has been employed at the University of St. Gallen since receiving his doctorate in 2018. He is an expert in applying machine learning methods to answer causal questions, addressing issues in labor economics, among others. Thus, he will further complement and strengthen the field of Data Science in Tübingen in research and teaching in an excellent way.
