13.04.2015 – On April 22nd 2015 two guest lectures are held in the IfS auditorium. Between 2.30-4pm, Dr. Paul Downward (Reader in Sport Economics at Loughborough University, GB) gives a guest lecture on the "Determinants and effects of sports participation – Evidence from the UK" (Announcement). From 6pm on, Professor Samantha Thomas (distinguished visiting professor at the Institute of Sports Science) discusses "Shaping addiction? The role of industry tactics in normalising sports based gambling products and behaviours" (Announcement). All students, colleagues and interested listeners are invited to join the lectures.
