3rd AI Symposium, July 11 at IWM

The AI Symposium, jointly organized by ZSL, RP, IWM, KI Makerspace, and TüCeDE, took place in Tübingen for the 3rd time.

The 3rd AI Symposium in Tübingen provided an opportunity for researchers to present innovative projects in the fields of 'Teaching and learning with and about AI' and 'Media and democracy education in the age of AI'. Building on the success of the years 2023 and 2024, which significantly promoted dialogue between teacher training and academia, the 11 July 2025 symposium also facilitated intensive exchange between research and practice. The day began with a keynote speech by Jacqueline Bellon (IZEW), followed by workshops and a 'Market of Opportunities', where experts in teaching development and teacher training, as well as teachers, engaged in intensive discussions with academic representatives. Following this year's success, another edition is certainly planned for next year.
