Digital media can promote teaching and learning processes through targeted use. To this end, it makes sense to use digital media specifically for subject-specific requirements. In order to reflect the diversity of subjects in the German school system and at the same time maintain an overview, some subjects are summarised here in subject groups. At the same time, subjects for which there is a larger number of recognised experts in Tübingen are presented separately.

In Tübingen, research into digital education is focussed primarily on mathematics and science teaching. In addition, teaching and learning with digital media in the social sciences, humanities and languages are also being investigated.
