Kai Wortmann, M.Sc.

Kai Wortmann is a philosopher of education with a strong interest in empirical research. His research focusses broadly on pragmatist and postmodern philosophy of education as well as qualitative research methods and methodology. Currently, he is particularly interested in re-thinking what it means to be critical in theorising education. His PhD focusses on Bruno Latour and Richard Rorty and is supervised by Professor Markus Rieger-Ladich. He teaches courses on philosophy of education, research methodology and qualitative data analysis. He holds a BA in Education and Philosophy (Heidelberg University) as well as an MSc in Educational Research Design and Methodology (University of Oxford). He also was a Visiting Student Researcher at Linnaeus University (Sweden).
