By regularly providing significant research contributions on societal-relevant questions, the Institute of Sports Science (IfS) aims to maintain its top position among Germany’s sports science institutions. In this regard, third-party funded projects in cooperation with national and international sports organisations and ministries are of great importance. The network of partners in research and teaching is continuously expanded in order to facilitate professional exchange. In terms of knowledge transfer, the IfS offers services in the field of research, consulting and further education for sport and health organisation.
