Introductory event for all first semesters in the Bachelor's in Sociology

Before the beginning of the semester we welcome you as students of the BA Sociology major or minor to the introductory event at the Department of Sociology. The staff of the Department will introduce themselves, the structure of the study program will be discussed and all important questions concerning the organisation of studies and module allocation will be clarified. Important contacts during your studies will also be introduced. In addition, you will have the opportunity to discuss questions concerning your studies with the Student Council of Sociology.

Introductory event for all first semester students in the Master’s in Sociology with a Specialization in Empirical Social Research

Before the beginning of the semester, we welcome you as a student of the Master's in Sociology to the introductory event at the Department of Sociology. The staff will introduce themselves, the structure of the study program will be discussed and all important questions concerning the organisation of studies and module allocation will be clarified. In addition, the lecturers of the reearch training projects will present their research projects for this semester. Important contacts during your studies will also be introduced. After the course, you will have the opportunity to discuss questions concerning your studies with the Student Council of Sociology.
