You are studying to become a teacher and would like to gain international experience abroad or from home? If so, there are various opportunities for you to gain international and cultural experience during your teacher training — both abroad and on site in Tübingen. There are different ways and options you can explore and combine:
Option A: Study Abroad
Through its network of international partner universities, the University of Tübingen offers you the excellent opportunity to study abroad at different partner institutions. These study abroad programs are coordinated by the university's International Office.
Option C: Short term programms and offers
If you are interested in spending time abroad but do not want to spend an entire semester or even time abroad right away, there are also various options for shorter stays, such as international summer schools, workshops, or language courses.
Option B: School internship abroad
In this case, there are various models and options available to you. You could, for example, complete part of your school internship semester abroad or do a voluntary internship at a school abroad. This can be arranged through an organization, or you can apply for an internship independently.
Option D: Internationalization at home
Through various activities related to “internationalization at home,” you are given the unique opportunity to gain cultural experience through international programs and offerings at the University of Tübingen without having to leave your home country.
