Current events

Tübingen school talks

Since the 2019/20 winter semester, the Tübingen school talks series of events has provided a forum for teaching degree students, teachers, and researchers to discuss fundamental issues relating to the teaching profession as well as school and classroom activities. The events are designed to examine authentic questions about the teaching profession from different perspectives and thereby arouse curiosity and anticipation among teaching degree students about working in the school environment.

The events take place online and are aimed in particular at teaching degree students (registration via ALMA). However, we also welcome interested colleagues from the fields of practice and research. Please feel free to contact us!

For more information on the individual events, please click on the respective image above.

Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or suggestions!

Tübingen school talks plus

Complementing the Tübingen school talks series, the Tübingen school talks (plus) series addresses specific current social challenges in schools and teacher training. The various issues are examined from different perspectives (school practice, research, teacher training, counseling practice, and/or extracurricular education) and discussed with the audience. Our aim is to encourage and promote a multi-perspective exchange on an equal footing.

The events take place online, in person, or in a hybrid format. Participation in the events is free of charge for all interested parties.
