PhD Seminar

Prior to the Conference of the German Association of Sport Economics and Sport Management a PhD workshop will be organized by Professor Arne Feddersen (University of Southern Denmark) offering the opportunity to present and discuss PhD projects with established researchers.

Instead of presenting already finished paper projects, the PhD students are rather expected to present their research questions, theoretical perspectives as well as their research designs of ongoing (empirical or theoretical) projects. Dependent on the number of attendees it is planned to have around 60 minutes for presentation and discussion for each PhD project.

In addition, a presentation by Professor Oliver Budzinski (TU Ilmenau) on “Theories and Ethics of Science“ is planned. The seminar will close with an editors’ workshop organized by former or ongoing editors of relevant target journals (such as the International Journal of Sport Finance) providing de-tailed information on the reviewing and publication process.
