FISPO General Meeting 2025

FISPO General Meeting elects new board.

On 17 October 2025, the FISPO general meeting was held in the Fürstenzimmer (prince’s chamber) of Hohentübingen Castle. The members confirmed Tilman Kröger as First Chair and Dr. Sandra Dreher-Mansur as Treasurer in their positions. The General Meeting also elected Vanessa Haug as the successor to Second Chair Gerold Sick, who did not run for re-election. The sports scientist Haug, who holds a bachelor’s degree with a focus on health promotion and a master’s degree in sports science, currently works at the Agaplesion Bethesda Clinic in Ulm.

At the meeting held in early November 2025, the Executive Board of the Institute of Sports Science confirmed PD Dr. Marcel Fahrner as its representative on the FISPO Board until 2027. There are also no changes in the office, which Monika Raetz continues to manage. “I am looking forward to starting the next term of office with this team and addressing the tasks ahead of us” comments the re-elected First Chairman, Tilman Kröger.
