Successful habilitation by Marcel Fahrner

Marcel Fahrner has achieved his habilitation in sports science.

The Institute of Sport Science has the pleasure to announce the successful habilitation by Marcel Fahrner. His cumulative habilitation thesis is entitled “Sport Governance in the setting of voluntary organisations – conceptual reflections and empirical research”. The habilitation committee of the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences accepted his habilitation lecture on the topic of “Government support of high-performance sport” on 9 December 2024 and awarded him the “venia legend” in sports science.
