The University of Tübingen, and especially our Department of Anthropology, offers a variety of consulting services that are available to help you with questions about your studies, problems with papers, or subject-specific questions.

If you have general questions or concerns about your studies (e.g. enrollment, change of subject or application), you can contact the University's Central Student Advisory Service. If you have specific questions about your subject, e.g. regarding the structure or module examinations, the student advisory service can help you. Dr. Max Priester-Lasch is responsible for Bachelor students, Master students please contact Prof. Dr. Gabriele Alex. If you have direct questions about a course or a specific problem in research, many of our staff members offer regular consultation hours. Of course you can also contact us directly. The Student Advisory Service office will be closed from 17 August to 21 August 2026, and your enquiries will be answered from 24 August onwards.
