The Brown Bag Seminar was launched in early 2007 by the mid-level faculty of the Department of Economics. The Brown Bag is an informal event where participants can discuss their own research (work in progress). To promote a relaxed atmosphere and avoid scheduling conflicts, the Brown Bag Seminar takes place at lunchtime and includes a shared lunch. The term ‘brown bag’ refers to the usual color of lunch bags, which everyone brings filled to the weekly meetings.
The meetings take place every Monday from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. in seminar room E 07 (formerly Werner-Diez-Raum) at Mohlstraße 36. All department members are cordially invited to participate and present their current research!
The scheduling of appointments is organized by Julian Nüßle.
