Colloquium: Vivien Markert, "The Chinese Muslim Diaspora in Cairo"

Our speaker, Vivien Markert, is a research assistant and PhD candidate since October 2019 at the Chair of Greater China Studies. Her research focuses on Islam in China. In the talk, she will share her research notes gathered from visits to Cairo, with interesting anecdotes and discussions of fieldwork experiences.
