Master Thesis

Note that during summer 2019 there are no available slots for master thesis left. Topic assignment will again be possible from September onwards.


We offer the possibility to write a Master thesis at our chair on an ongoing basis. We supervise Master theses in all areas of macroeconomics. Possible topics may relate to ongoing work at the chair.

We recommend that you attend at least one of our courses offered or participate in the Master Seminar on Monetary and Fiscal Policy prior to writing your thesis at our chair.

If you want to write your thesis at our chair please send a short application featuring a CV, a current Transcript of Records and a short proposal of your research project or topic that you are interested in (not more than one page) to gernot.mueller( at)
