Sprachverarbeitung und Zeitkognition

Das Projekt untersuchte die Rolle modaler Repräsentationen (mentaler Zeitpfeil, Situationssimulation) bei der Verarbeitung temporaler Information (temporale Verankerung, Situationstyp, Situationsdauer). Das Ziel der dritten Förderphase war es, die Bedingungen einer Aktivierung des mentalen Zeitpfeils auszuloten, modale und amodale Ansätze bei der Verarbeitung verschiedener Situationstypen einander gegenüberzustellen, sowie den Einfluss von ausgedrückter Situationsdauer auf die Sprachverarbeitung zu untersuchen. Das Projekt leistete, indem es die funktionale Rolle nicht-sprachlicher Anteile beim Verstehensprozess benannte, einen Beitrag zur Entwicklung eines umfassenden Modells semantischer Verarbeitung.
