Kombinatorische Bedeutungsvariation an der Semantik/Pragmatik-Schnittstelle

A1 untersuchte kombinatorische Bedeutungsanpassungen innerhalb der Satzkomposition. Der Forschungsschwerpunkt lag auf Unterbestimmtheit und Uminterpretation bei Modifikationsstrukturen. Unsere Resultate aus den ersten beiden Förderphasen wiesen auf die prominente Rolle des Lexikons für diese Anpassungsprozesse hin. Darauf aufbauend wurde eine dynamische Theorie der lexikalischen Semantik entwickelt, die adaptive Mechanismen in das Lexikon integriert. Diese werden im Zuge der Komposition aktiviert und sind sensitiv sowohl für kompositional eingespeiste wie auch kontextuell bereitgestellte Information. Daraus resultieren neue Lösungsansätze für Phänomene, die als besondere Herausforderungen für Kompositionalität gelten.
