Text and Idea of Aristotle's Science of Living Things (TIDA)

Christopher Shields is University of California Distinguished University Professor and Henry B. Alison Professor of Philosophy at University of California San Diego. Previously he held professorships at the University of Notre Dame and Oxford University. He has published several books on topics in Ancient Philosophy, including a translation and commentary on Aristotle's De Anima (Oxford University Press); he has also published   numerous articles on topics in Ancient and Medieval Philosophy, as well as in contemporary metaphysics and philosophy of mind.
