Part of the certificate program is the specific preparation and implementaion of a transfer activity with students in schools as part of Science Inspires.
On the basis of the preparatory workshops, you will prepare a (self-chosen) research topic in a way that is both illustrative and oriented towards the target audience, in order to work on and discuss it with a class of students in schools.
The aim is to foster a dialogic and cooperative exchange on equal terms. On the one hand, students should gain insights into current scientific issues, topics, and working methods. On the other hand, the exchange should help you as a scientist to gain practical impulses for your own scientific work.
The school events are aimed at a class of high school students in the upper secondary school (grades 10-12 or 13) and usually last 90 minutes. As part of the certificate program, you should conduct 2-3 school events at different schools. The dates can be set individually.
