Research with respect to decarbonization at the university of Tübingen includes renewable energies (hydro-/wind-/solar energy), new techniques for energs storage, but also techniques for carbon sequestration. Existing expertise in this research fields will be bundled and combined with research on land-use for agriculture, maintenance of the biosphere, and carbon sinks.
