The comprehensive promotion of early career scientists, especially female scientists, is one of the key factors of the Institutional Strategy of the University. The conducted actions include:
- the rapid expansion of the Graduate Academy,
- the establishment of independent Junior Research Groups,
- the appointment of outstanding young scientists to Junior Professorships (W1 with „tenure track“): Due to the early establishment of W1 Professorships, Early Career Researchers will get the best chance to establish themselves in their research field, and
- the support of promising early career researchers with a diverse range of funding opportunities.
