Promotion of Early Career Researchers

The comprehensive promotion of early career scientists, especially female scientists, is one of the key factors of the Institutional Strategy of the University. The conducted actions include:

• the rapid expansion of the Graduate Academy,
• the establishment of independent Junior Research Groups,
• the appointment of outstanding young scientists to Junior Professorships (W1 with „tenure track“): Due to the early establishment of W1 Professorships, Early Career Researchers will get the best chance to establish themselves in their research field, and
• the support of promising early career researchers with a diverse range of funding opportunities.
