Research

The University of Tübingen quickly implemented the measures in the area of research which it had planned for its Institutional Strategy. Four research platforms were established to further the interdisciplinary exchange between researchers within the University and with external research institutions. The Core Facilities enable an efficient usage of up-to-date research infrastructure and Industry on Campus professorships combine research and industry as well as basic research with application orientation. Furthermore a number of new professorships show that the University of Tübingen is a place, where research is practised on the highest level.
