Managing major sports facilities – A view behind the scene
During the seminar "Sports Facility Management" led by Professor Tim Pawlowski, sports management students had the opportunity to experience the Hallenduo in Stuttgart and the PreZero Arena in Sinsheim from a hands-on perspective.
In the morning, students gained exciting insights into strategic and operational management practices during a guided tour in the Schleyer-Halle and the Porsche-Arena in Stuttgart. In the afternoon, the focus was put on operational waste and resource management in the PreZero Arena in Sinsheim – Europe’s first certified zero-waste stadium. By attending presentations and participating in a guided stadium tour, students had the unique opportunity to learn about innovative approaches for sustainable stadium operations.
