New member ZMBP
Access for a new member in the research group.

The requirement is a login ID from the University of Tübingen.
The head of the research group or the supervisor of the new member please send me an email with the following data:

• First name (Sabine, Betty, Joe, Yang,...)
• Last name (Müller, Smith, Wang,...)
• Login-ID University of Tübingen (bcgxy01, bbbxy01, zxmxy01 a.s.o.)
• Status (Hiwi, Bachelor, Master, PhD, Post-doc, Guest scientist, TA...)
• Access to (Only Transfer, Transfer and Lab Network folder)
• How long? (e. g. until 1.1.2028)

Visiting (Guest) scientist
For visiting scientists a login ID can be requested.

WLAN for guests
For guests, every employee of the University of Tübingen can set up a temporary access (up to 14 + 14 days).
https://wlan.zdv.uni-tuebingen.de/guest
However, no server access (ZMBP network drives) is possible with this login ID.

The WLAN access point is "Guest"
Account name (Kontoname) and password (Passwort) are created when logging in to
wlan.zdv.uni-tuebingen.de.
Account name and password are entered in the browser (Chrome, Firefox, ...).
