Comment: The ERCCT's partnerships with Taiwanese institutions have a general, somewhat asymmetrical character: within the framework of its programmes, the ERCCT invites schientists to Tübingen for research and teaching projects, with all the expenses of the guests being borne by the ERCCT. In return, the Taiwanese institutions maintain the ERCCT Tutorial System, in which they accredit the ERCCT Fellows during their field research stay and support them in accessing the research area 'in the field', without financial support for the ERCCT Fellows.
