Correlation of the Bavarian magnetostratigraphic records to the Astronomical Tuned Neogene Time Scale (ATNTS) of Lourens et al. 2004. The 40Ar–39Ar ages of the Ries and bentonite glasses are shown with their analytical 1σ error (from Abdul-Aziz et al. 2010).
