Impact of climate change on human-environment relations in urban and rural areas in a South Asian high mountain region, the (Western) Himalayas

The Erasmus+ project between Azim Premji University (Bangalore) and the University of Tübingen aims to foster a collaborative and decolonial approach to understanding, researching, and teaching about human-environment relations in the South Asian Himalayas, with a focus on the challenges posed by climate change in these ecologically sensitive high mountain regions. The project will engage with current debates on global climate justice and promote critical, interdisciplinary reflection on the diverse impacts of globalization, particularly among students.
