On his way to Rome for a research stay, Prof. Markus Pudelko made a stop on the Côte d'Azur to deliver a lecture at the International University of Monaco to colleagues in the Department of Strategy and Management on the topic “Multicultural and Multilingual Individuals’ Abilities to Assist Others in Overcoming Their Cultural and Language Barriers.”

At the Libera Università Internazionale degli Studi Sociali (LUISS) in Rome, one of Italy’s two leading business schools, Prof. Pudelko participated in various events during his stay. He delivered a lecture on one of his most recent research projects, titled “How and Why Perceptions of Discrimination Against Highly Qualified Migrants Have Evolved Over Time.” He also gave a guest lecture to master’s students on “Multicultural People, Multilinguals, and Migrants: Upsides and Downsides.”

Finally, Prof. Pudelko took part in a “Research Slam,” which involved presenting a research project to colleagues from other disciplines in just two minutes. The latter posed the greatest challenge, as he had to finish his presentation before the timer went off after 120 seconds.
