Philipp Reichrath has been a researcher in the department since October 2017. He earned both his bachelor's degree and his master's degree at the Institute of Educational Science.

His scientific interest is the subject of health in pedagogy. Particularly with regard to historical developments during the early phase of the professionalization of social work, his doctoral project will examine the discursive influences on precisely this complex of topics. The focus is on Jane Addams and Alice Salomon, who have had a central influence in large parts of the world.
He is involved in the Studienstart project and is entrusted with teaching activities in the Bachelor's programs. During his studies, Mr. Reichrath worked as a counselor in various fields of social work, mainly with chronically addicted people.
