B.Sc. Sports Science with the profile Media and Communication

The bachelor's programme "Sports Science with a Media and Communication Profile" (formerly Sports Journalism) combines the subjects of sports and media science in six semesters. Thus, the programme provides students with sound knowledge of sports and media science and deepens their knowledge of topics relevant to sports journalism both in theoretical seminars on media production and analysis as well as in practical teaching. In addition, the study programme includes courses on "soft skills", which are key qualifications that qualify students for the respective field of employment. This interesting combination is unique in Germany and makes the students, after graduation, sought-after experts in the world of media sports.
