National Folklore Support Centre

Since April 2011, a Memorandum of Understanding has been in place with the National Folklore Support Center (NSFC) in Chennai. The NFSC is a non-governmental organization that conducts, documents and publishes studies on Indian folklore topics. Using specially developed methods, the institution aims to bring the traditions of Indian groups, such as dances, funeral ceremonies and dialects, to the public. It offers interns the opportunity to conduct research in the field as well as to assist in the design and publication of the documents.
