Assistant Professor (W1) of Space-based Observational Astrophysics

The Faculty of Sciences at the University of Tübingen invites applications for the position of

Assistant Professor (W1) of Space-based Observational Astrophysics

which is to be filled at 01.10.2015.

The professorship is embedded into the Physics Department. The successful candidate shall
participate in the teaching courses of the Physics Department. Independent research activities
in the framework of the research of the Institute for Astronomy and Astrophysics are expected
as well as the implementation and interpretation of multiwavelength observational
programs at space-based observatories and experimental developments for future space
missions. Furthermore, participation in the research activities of the Kepler Center is expected.
