Post-doc position in Quantum Information Theory (f/m/d, E13 TV-L, 100%)

The Institute for Theoretical Physics at the University Tübingen  is looking to fill 

a post-doc position in Quantum Information Theory (f/m/d, E13 TV-L, 100%)  

The position will be offered initially until end of June 2025 with the possibility of extension for two more years depending on extension of funding. It will have as topic the development of efficient characterization of quantum processors, in the framework of a project funded by the state of Baden-Württemberg and in collaboration with the Fraunhofer society.  One of the latest and most powerful quantum computers from IBM will be available for implementing and testing the theoretical ideas.

We are looking for highly motivated candidates with a background in quantum information theory.  The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in quantum algorithms and/or quantum tomography.
