Cleaner-client interactions under global change:
This short animation provides an overview of the ongoing research of Dr Rachel Gunn. The overall goal of the research is to use positive species interactions as a monitoring tool for ecosystems in a changing world. Rachel uses a 'cleaning' mutualism on coral reefs as a study system to understand how environmental change might disrupt positive species interactions, and the consequences for species, populations and ecosystems. The animation was produced by Mair Perkins ltd. Chiara Obst provided the translation and voice over. Rachel Gunn wrote the script and designed the storyboard for the animation.
